[Via Satellite 03-17-2016] Satellite network solutions provider UltiSat has extended support to a prominent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) by deploying its UltiNet Gold service throughout the Middle East Africa (MEA) region. UltiNet is comprised of a portfolio of integrated satellite, wireless and information security products and services enabling Service Level Agreement (SLA)-based, C- and/or Ku-band connectivity to end users in remote and harsh territories.

UltiNet Platinum and Gold packages cover 95 percent and 80 percent of the planet, respectively. For this NGO customer, the company will initially deploy the UltiNet Gold service in sub-Saharan African countries as a broadband connectivity solution via high-power Ku-band beams supported by 1-meter and 1.2-meter fixed, quick-deploy and auto-deploy terminals. The new capabilities will enable a variety of emerging usage applications demanded by the NGO market including cloud applications, Internet access, staff morale and welfare, emergency response, and backup connectivity.
