Inmarsat Tightens Partnership with IEC Telecom Group

[Via Satellite 04-29-2015] Inmarsat has appointed IEC Telecom Group as a global distribution partner for its L-band portfolio of satellite offerings. The fixed and mobile satellite distribution provider, which is also a Global Xpress Value Added Reseller (VAR), will sell products such as Inmarsat’s BGAN, IsatHub and IsatPhone. IEC Telecom Group has a presence in in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), sub-Saharan Africa, and Central and South East Asia.

“Our intention is to double our reseller channel by mid-2016 thanks to our very specific delivery and our focus on Inmarsat’s services. Our focus is on offering applications for tracking and Machine-to-Machine (M2M), video and audio broadcast, Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization, video surveillance, e-health, security, biometrics and data scan,” said Erwan Emilian, CEO at IEC Telecom Group.
