exactEarth and Genscape Partner on AIS Data Products

[Via Satellite 07-02-2014] Com Dev International subsidiary exactEarth has entered a strategic alliance with Genscape. Citing “extremely complementary backgrounds and capabilities,” exactEarth will make its satellite Automatic Identification System (AIS) data available with Genscape’s terrestrial AIS information and ship information data, and vice versa. The two companies will jointly produce AIS-based data products and services for customers.
Genscape AIS and ship information will be available via exactEarth’s product offering. exactEarth will provide satellite AIS data services to Genscape for summery flow reports, critical analysis assessments and other derivative products.
