Sage Communications Acquires Longbottom Communications

[Via Satellite 11-08-13] Sage Communications has acquired Longbottom Communications and will debut as a single firm at the 2013 Satellite Communications Conference & Expo (SATCON) later this month. For Sage, the move is a tactical investment in support of the company’s long-term strategic growth goals to increase its position in the satellite industry.

“By bringing Longbottom into the Sage family, we enhance our own capabilities and strengths to deliver maximum value to our commercial satellite/space, defense and energy customers,” said Larry Rosenfeld, chief executive officer, Sage Communications.

Upon finalizing the agreement, Longbottom Communications will operate as a division of Sage Communications. This division will continue to operate under the leadership of Penelope Longbottom and Patrick Boyle, and its current staff will remain intact to support its clients.
