[Satellite TODAY 08-16-12] Hybrid connectivity provider SkyVision Networks has signed an agreement with telecommunications and infrastructure company Broadlink to deliver Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Internet connectivity services to its enterprise customers in South Africa, SkyVision announced Aug. 15.

SkyVision will provide VSAT services that aim to enhance Broadlink’s range of terrestrial and wireless communication solutions with end-to-end business connectivity. Broadlink will utilize SkyVision’s satellite services, local hubs and teleports.
“Broadlink has made great strides in the South African business market, however, we have seen an increased demand from our customers for communication solutions catering to business sites and branches across our borders,” Broadlink Managing Director Mike Brown said in a statement. “By partnering with SkyVision, we can now accommodate their requirements for connectivity solutions across the African continent, allowing us to expand our reach exponentially.”
