PPM Opens New U.S.-Based ViaLite Sales Unit

[Satellite TODAY 08-09-12] RF over fiber equipment manufacturer Pulse Power and Measurement (PPM) has launched a new sales organization in the United States, which will trade under the brand name ViaLite Communications, PPM announced Aug. 7.
PPM said ViaLite products should now be ordered directly from the ViaLite Communications sales office in Florida. However, all existing commitments to customers will be met during the transition.
“We have supplied our ViaLite products into the United States through distribution for many years,” PPM Spokesman Martin Ryan said in a statement. “However, the customer base in the United States for our products has been growing rapidly. To support the market fully, we needed to create our own operation. As a consequence, we have decided to open a U.S. office to support our customers directly. Having our own U.S.-based company will allow us to get closer to customers, better understand their requirements and improve our level of service.”
