Satcom Direct Opens New Facility in Georgia

[Satellite TODAY 06-13-12] Satellite voice, fax, datalink and Internet communications solutions provider Satcom Direct has opened a new domestic office in Savannah, Ga., the company announced June 12.
The new Satcom Direct office, which opened June 1, includes a business office and a satellite testing and integration lab. The company said customers who visit the location would have access to an avionics and testing lab, training facility and support services for pilots, flight operations and maintenance staff.
“By opening this new office in Savannah, Ga., we are offering customers who operate or travel in that area direct access to our lab and technologies,” Satcom Direct Founder and Owner Jim Jensen said in a statement. “This offers customers a great opportunity to better know, understand and troubleshoot their aircraft satellite technology.”
