OnAsset Reveals Latest Edition of Vision M2M Tracking Platform

[Satellite TODAY 09-16-11] Machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless asset tracking provider OnAsset Intelligence has unveiled the latest version of its Vision software platform, the company announced Sept. 14.
Vision is a software-as-a-service solution designed to provide shippers with 24/7 visibility regarding the whereabouts and condition of high-value assets in their supply chain. The solution features mapping capabilities with custom data overlays that visualize the real-time state, location and status history of any asset being tracked by OnAsset’s Sentry devices.
“Shippers and third-party logistics providers use Vision to monitor and analyze the data sent from Sentry devices in the field, and Vision helps shippers manage response plans in the event of a theft or temperature alert during transit. Vision can save route groups for frequent transit, or repeat shipments,” OnAsset Intelligence said in a company statement.
