[Satellite TODAY 06-02-11] Polish teleport and satellite service supplier TTComm has signed a number of long-term agreements with Spacecom to lease capacity from the operator’s Amos satellite fleet, located at the 4 degrees West orbital slot.
The operator announced June 1 that TTComm’s Minsk-based Mazoweicki teleport station is leasing 10Mhz of Amos capacity to provide VSAT and broadcast services for its government, corporate and broadcast clients. TTComm is utilizing its bandwidth on Amos for government-closed network and broadcasting.
“Amos was the best choice because of its seasoned team of professionals and high-quality, economical solutions. They meet our long-term needs for capacity and growth,” TTComm Technical Director Zygmunt Ochman said in a statement.
Financial details of the capacity leases were not disclosed.
