GlobalStar Hooks Up New Spanish Deal

[Satellite TODAY 05-23-11] Globalstar Europe Satellite Services, a subsidiary of Globalstar, has signed an authorized distribution agreement with Spanish company Equipos Navales Industriales. Equipos Navales will act as a national distributor for Globalstar´s suite of duplex products to the commercial fishing market within the Spanish mainland territory.
“With this distribution agreement, Globalstar has returned to the Spanish fishing market with a Ministry of Fisheries approved solution for the (DEA) E-Log Book. The GSP-1700 marine kit is the perfect solution for fishing boats between 15-24 meters due to size of the unit, hardware price and of course the Unlimited Voice and Data Airtime plan," Luis Garcia de España, Director of Equipos Navales Industriales, said in a statement.
