C-Com Releases Multilingual iNetVu Antenna Interface

By Jeffrey Hill | October 14, 2010

[Satellite TODAY 10-14-10] C-Com Satellite Systems has developed multilingual software for its iNetVu mobile antenna systems, the company announced Oct. 13.
C-Com’s iNetVu 7000 controllers will now be integrated with a Windows-based software tool, which provides a selectable language option that allows users to configure and operate the iNetVu system in their native language.
C-Com President and CEO Leslie Klein said that the first language implemented in the software was Chinese, due to a large number of its customers in the Asian markets, with Russian, Arabic, French, Spanish and Portuguese to follow based on demand. “Almost 90 percent of the iNetVu antenna systems are exported and many of the ultimate users of the product do not necessarily speak English. We believe that this added language compatibility enhancement will make the product more user friendly and will differentiate it from competing products not offering this capability.”
