By Staff Writer | January 26, 2010

[Satellite TODAY 01-25-10] Quake Global, a manufacturer of M2M communicators for multiple satellite and terrestrial networks, has selected IAR Systems as its preferred software development environment for its new Q-Pro and Q4000 modems, Quake Global announced Jan. 25.
Quake Global will use the IAR Embedded Workbench in its internal product, as well as customer-end application development. Quake said it chose IAR because of the stability and debug-friendly qualities of its software.
"Our software tool technology combined with outstanding technical support was a key factor for Quake Global’s decision. As our C/C++ compiler tools are used in Quake Global’s next generation products, we look forward to supporting them in the wireless communications market,” IAR General Manager Nadim Shehayed said in a statement.
