Stratos Forms U.K. Security Solutions Marketing Partnership

[Satellite Today 06-30-09] Stratos Global Corp. signed an agreement with Modern Security Solutions, a Stratos partner based in the United Kingdom, to market the Afiant satellite network video management system under Stratos’ ECO-Partner program for land and mobile services, Stratos announced June 29.
Modern Security developed the Afiant satellite system to the specifications of global security professionals and to provide a security platform to manage surveillance networks.
The Afiant system delivers remote access via an encrypted web interface or PDA application. The software allows users to set motion alerts and send the alerts via Inmarsat Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) from the field.
