C-Com Delivers Multiple Enterprise System Orders in China

[Satellite Today 06-22-09] C-Com Satellite Systems has delivered iNetVu Mobile Flyaway systems to China Petroleum and  Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) through one of its resellers, China Blue Satellite Communications Technology Co., C-Com announced June 17.
    The iNetVu Flyaway antenna systems  were delivered to Sinopec for use in emergency communications. The units will be used to establish instant communications over satellite in such emergency situations as a pipeline leakage, gas explosion or hazardous material handling incidents, C-Com said.
    “The Flyaway unit makes it possible to setup a satellite link within minutes and gives us the capability to coordinate any emergency situation with multiple departments and government agencies. The video, data and voice capacity of this system allows all decision makers to collaborate instantaneously and provides them with precise, clear and comprehensive information about the developing emergency situation and allows them to respond accordingly.” said Zy Xu, director of information for Sinopec, in a statement.
