GlobeCast Rebrands, Reorganizes Enterprise and U.S. Business Units

By Staff Writer | April 22, 2009

[Satellite Today 04-22-09] GlobeCast Enterprise Services has changed its name to Keystone Enterprise Services, Keystone announced April 20.
The company said that the name change reflects the company’s new structure and focus on large-scale secure video and media delivery services for enterprises. The rebranding comes two years after the company completed a transaction to purchase the U.S.-based enterprise services business unit of France Telecom subsidiary, GlobeCast.
In March 2007, GlobeCast was joined by Simmons Media Group and Epic Venture Fund/Zions, a $40 billion investment and banking organization under France Telecom. The restructuring and name change brings Keystone out from under France Telecom.
Separately, GlobeCast America appointed David Justin as its new CEO, the company announced April 20.
Justin had previously been the CEO of GlobeCast Asia. Justin will take up this position in early June.
GlobeCast America has also announced that it has appointed Catherine Palaia as senior director, business and product development. Palaia has previously worked with PanAmSat and later, Intelsat.
