[Satellite Today 04-15-09] MotoSat released its Mesa series tri-axis motorized self-aligning antenna for fixed VSAT applications, the company announced April 13.
The Mesa antenna uses tri-axis alignment to provide automatic satellite peaking and acquisition for fixed base antennas ranging in size from 1.2 to 2.4 meters. MotoSat said the unit was designed to provide single-button satellite acquisition and automatic reacquisition in harsh environments.
"With the partnerships that we are forming right now and the capabilities of the Mesa, this product is going to dramatically change the way Ku-band, C-band and X-band customers manage their satellite and land-based networks in the future," Jim Pendleton, CEO of MotoSat, said in a statement.
