Hispasat Upgrades to SAT Corp. MonicsNet Detection Systems

[Satellite Today 03-24-09] SAT Corp., a subsidiary of Integral Systems, received a contract from Hispasat to upgrade the carrier monitoring system throughout Hispasat’s network, extending its MonicsNet network to support the Amazonas 1 and Amazonas 2 communications systems.
MonicsNet is a global system providing automatic monitoring of Hispasat’s carriers using SAT Corp.’s digital signal processing technology. The MonicsNet system will be devoted to monitoring and detecting interference and/or unauthorized users of the Amazonas system payloads.
SAT Corp. has provided similar systems to international customers including, SES, Shin Satellite Public Co., Loral Skynet, Satmex, Hellasat and Sky Perfect JSAT Corp.
