DigitalGlobe To Provide Imagery To Microsoft

[Satellite Today 10-07-08] DigitalGlobe has signed a multi-year contract with Microsoft Corp. to provide the software giant’s Virtual Earth program with DigitalGlobe satellite and aerial imagery, the companies announced Oct. 7.
    Under the terms of the agreement, DigitalGlobe will give Microsoft access to its ImageLibrary, which contains more than 460 million square kilometers of Earth imagery as well as new images being collected every day by its satellite constellation.
     Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
