[Satellite Today – 06-02-08] Satlynx is targeting the maritime market with the launch of a new set of services, the company said June 2.
Satlynx is making available a new set of maritime VSAT services across its portfolio of platforms including single channel per carrier (SCPC) and shared and dedicated time division multiple access hubs. Satlynx hope the new services will strike a chord with its customer throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Availability and coverage will be defined by the service areas of Satlynx’s platforms via different satellites operating at Ku-, extended Ku- and C-band frequencies, with global coverage provided via SCPC technology on dedicated bandwidth.
