XM, PlayNetwork Sign Commercial Deal

[12-14-07 – Satellite Today] XM Satellite Radio has signed an agreement with PlayNetwork, an integrated media experiences provider, to manage commercial business sales and service for XM, the company announced Dec. 12.
    The new “XM for Business” service, which includes access to PlayNetwork’s network of dealers, equipment distributors and customer service representatives, will be available to business customers across the country.
    “PlayNetwork’s expertise in managing commercial services will be integral in growing XM business sales,” said Dan Murphy, EVP, Retail Aftermarket Distribution, XM Satellite Radio. “This agreement gives us access to PlayNetwork’s seasoned direct-sales team that specializes in providing music and entertainment services to businesses all over the country.”
