Foxtel Relaunches Games Service

[12-14-07 – Satellite Today] Foxtel, the Australian DTH operator, has relaunched its interactive games service, the company announced Dec. 13. The new Gamesworld service will feature a new look and three new content genres. The service offers subscribers a suite of interactive games across three genres, Kids Family, Brainteaser Trivia and Casino Sport.
    Foxtel has partnered with Australian companies Turner International and NDS to produce its Kids Family games, the Australian organisation TwoWayTV for its Brainteaser Trivia games, and French company Visiware, for Casino Sport games.
    Foxtel has close to 1.5 million subscribers in Australia, which has a population of more than 20 million people.
