Arguments To Protect C-Band For Satellite Use Gains Momentum At WRC

[11-06-07 – Satellite Today] The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has joined the No Change In C-band campaign at the World Radiocommunications Conference in Geneva, Satellite News reports.
    IMO joins a widening group pushing to keep the existing use of the C-band spectrum, as opposed to those who want to identify international mobile telecommunications (IMT) systems in C-band. Opponents of the IMT plan say that interference between IMT-like technologies and satellite services have disrupted service around the world.
