IDC Receives IPTV Orders

[10-12-07 – Satellite Today] International Datacasting Corp. (IDC) has received $1.7 million in orders for Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) products and related services from three unnamed customers, the company announced Oct. 10.
"IPTV is an emerging market, global in scope, and it represents a significant growth opportunity for IDC with our broadband satellite IP multicasting technology and experience,”Ron Clifton, president and CEO of IDC, said in a statement. "These orders will contribute to our backlog situation for this year as well as contributing and setting the stage for additional follow-on business in 2008."
