Inmarsat Awards Thrane & Thrane Contract For Control Stations

[08/16/07 – Satellite Today] Thrane & Thrane has been awarded a contract by Inmarsat to supply and install two radio network controller stations in Hawaii, Thrane & Thrane announced.
The stations will support Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service via the third Inmarsat-4 satellite. Installation of equipment is planned to be completed during the current fiscal year with integration and testing scheduled for the following year.
The contract is valued at 20 million Danish krone ($3.6 million)
