Kratos Appoints Frank Backes VP of Business Development

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions announced that Frank Backes has been named vice president of business development for Kratos satcom products and federal satellite solutions. Backes was most recently chief executive officer for Braxton Technologies and Braxton Science and Technology Group, manufacturers of command and control software for intelligence, military and commercial applications based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In announcing the appointment, John Monahan, senior vice president of Kratos satcom products and federal satellite solutions, pointed to Backes’ years of executive experience, which includes solutions architecture and product strategy as well as business development.
