Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Appoints Kevin Walden as CIO

[Via Satellite 12-15-2016] Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has appointed Kevin Walden Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the company. Walden has been serving as acting CIO since earlier this year. In his capacity as CIO, Walden will be responsible for all information technology at Kratos, including information security, information compliance, and data communications.

Walden has more than 30 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field, including the last 12 years working in various capacities at Kratos. Since 2008, he has held the position of director of information compliance and enterprise applications at the company.

Prior to Kratos, Walden was the chief technology officer for defense contractor High Technology Solutions, which was acquired by Kratos in 2004.  Walden served six years in the U.S. Navy prior to entering the commercial business IT market.
