[Via Satellite 04-21-2016] DataPath has successfully concluded the first installation of MaxView Enterprise, an upgraded version of the company’s network monitoring and control software. Since launching the re-architected software suite last fall, DataPath has worked closely with North American digital signage company Convergent Media Systems as its initial customer.

Convergent has worked in the satellite television industry for more than 35 years, and has utilized previous generations of MaxView for many years to monitor and control transmission equipment at different sites. The company used DataPath’s MaxView Enterprise to upgrade existing capabilities within its Network Operations Center (NOC).

MaxView Enterprise’s web interface extends device management within the entire network across all Convergent NOC specialists. Revamped reporting capabilities allow Convergent to quickly analyze uptime and proactively address any potential service issues.

“With its tailored web interface, MaxView Enterprise enables our engineers to efficiently manage multiple systems in a single, unified display. Since DataPath upgraded our system, we can identify and correct potential issues far more quickly,” said Jorge Rosado, SVP of planning and business operations at Convergent.

Following this first successful installation of MaxView Enterprise, the software is now fully available to new customers and as an upgrade to current DataPath customers.
