[Via Satellite 03-29-2016] DataPath has opened an office in New Delhi, becoming the company’s first local marketing office outside of the United States and Sweden. Leading the new office is Anil Singh, who DataPath appointed as business development manager for India. Singh has more than two decades of broad experience with tactical communication systems and networks including installation, operations, management and maintenance.

DataPath has served customers in the Indian broadcast market, and will now also focus on the defense sector. The company is supporting the government of India’s “Make in India” initiative by pursuing strategic partnerships with companies in public as well as private domains.

The New Delhi office is one of several infrastructure investments DataPath has planned for 2016 to strengthen and expand its relationships with existing and potential customers. The company plans to open additional sales and customer support offices in Dubai, Singapore and Australia by the end of the year, resulting in a significantly expanded international footprint.
