[Via Satellite 10-12-2015] Gilat Satellite Networks is implementing structural changes to focus on five primary growth drivers: High Throughput Satellites (HTS), In-Flight Connectivity (IFC), rural Internet broadband, turnkey solutions, and the Chinese market. The company is making two main changes: it’s commercial division will focus on creating broader solutions while continuing to focus on HTS, and its strategic initiatives division will encompass IFC activity, Wavestream, defense and the Chinese market, which will be addressed with a special focus.

Dov Baharav, chairman and interim CEO of Gilat, said the adjustments will also result in several changes to management team and structure. Baharav announced Gilat’s CFO Yuval Ronen, has decided to leave the company. He will be replaced by Adi Sfadia.

Sfadia served as CFO of Starhome-Mach and previously as CFO of Radvision. He will be joining Gilat on Dec. 1.
