NanoRacks Bolsters Presence in Europe

[Via Satellite 08-11-2015] NanoRacks has added Peter Bak to its ranks as the company’s first head of European operations. Bak spent the last three years working with Danish CubeSat company Gomspace as COO and head of customer deliveries. At NanoRacks, he will serve current and future European customers, and is tasked with selecting the location of the company’s first European office.

“The European space community has been watching the growth of commercial space activities in the [United] States and is ready to become more involved,” said Bak.

Bak has worked with customers and development teams from Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and has more than 25 years of experience from a variety of diverse, high-tech industries, including developing telecommunication solutions with Motorola/Freescale and smart grid research with Danish Vestas Wind Systems.
