Comtech Telecommunications Appoints New President and CEO

[Via Satellite 12-24-2014] Comtech Telecommunications, a manufacturer of advanced communications solutions, has appointed Stanton Sloane as the company’s new president and chief executive officer. Fred Kornberg will transition to the role of executive chairman of the Board of Directors.

From August 2011 to December 2014, Sloane served as president, CEO and a member of the board of directors of the advanced security and detection systems technology company Decision Sciences International Corporation. He has also held previous positions at SRA International, Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Systems and Solutions division, and General Electric Aerospace. Sloane will take on the roles of president and CEO of Comtech no later than Feb. 1, 2015.
