[Via Satellite 12-12-2014] Space Angels Network, a collection of seed and early-stage investors concentrating on funding aerospace ventures, and Space-Nest, an Israeli space technologies and applications incubator supported by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) have launched a partnership to grow space startups.

The partnership connects private capital and startup expertise from Space Angels Network with Space-Nest’s entrepreneurs. Additionally, Space-Nest will act as a Tel Aviv network hub for Space Angels Network.

“An appropriate framework will enable small, innovative companies with strong teams to develop emerging technologies into commercialized products. This will allow them to participate in, and accelerate ‘NewSpace,’” said Ofer Lapid, Co-Founder of Space-Nest.
