Hughes Announces Enhancements to HughesON Digital Media Solutions

[Via Satellite 04-22-2014] Hughes has added enhancements to its HughesON Digital Media Solutions to more readily access Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, Google+, and Instagram. HughesON is a comprehensive suite of managed network solutions, ranging from high-capacity access and high-availability, to digital signage and on-line training, optimized for the needs of multi-branch enterprises and government organizations.

In addition to boosting social media integration, the enhancements enable Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) with the full suite of HughesON Digital Signage Solutions and low-cost cloud services for content storage.

The HughesON update also improves emergency notifications by building on an earlier version that includes an iOS application for network administrators to send notifications using handheld devices.
