[Via Satellite 02-28-2014] Newtec has launched its new multiservice platform, Newtec Dialog, which allows operators to build and adapt their infrastructure as their business and the satellite market grows and changes. The platform can be used to address the consumer and enterprise VSAT, broadcast, cellular backhaul and trunking, as well as government and defense markets.

Newtec Dialog presents operators with the ability to offer a variety of new services on one platform with “optimal modulation and bandwidth allocation.” It uses a new return link technology called Mx-DMA to enable services to run smoothly over satellite while still providing the option to run the platform in either single channel per carrier (SCPC) or multi-frequency time division multiple access (MF-TDMA). It is built to work with everything from single coverage to multi-spot High Throughput Satellite (HTS) networks.
