WiMAX implementations are now hitting the marketplace in full stride. With the WiMAX hype now clearly behind us and actual implementations on the rise, satellite broadband, which has experienced increased market penetration over the past decade, is faced with competitive threats given that WiMAX is positioned in part as the enabler for bridging the digital divide.
