HD Goes Global: Not Just for Wealthy Countries Anymore |

HD programming has finally become a fact in North America, Western Europe and a number of other developed countries like Japan. It is no longer a question of when and how; instead HD is an essential cornerstone and competitive enabler in the TV markets in these countries. Of greater note, HD has also begun appearing on TV platforms in countries like Russia, Poland and Turkey in the last 12 to 18 months.
