[10-17-07 – Satellite Today] Pacific Century Matrix, a provider of satellite-based television broadcast solutions, has signed agreements with the Indus Media Group to use the Measat-3 satellite for the distribution of MTV Pakistan and Indus Vision, Measat Satellite Systems announced Oct. 17.
Financial details of the agreements were not released.
This is the second deal involving Pacific Century and Measat-3. On Oct. 10, the company announced that it had signed agreements to use the satellite to distribute Filmazia and Filmax.
Measat-3 located at 91.5 degrees East, provides direct-to-home, broadcasting and telecommunications services using 24 C-band and 24 Ku-band transponders.
