Romain Bausch, CEO of SES Global, expressed optimism that the company will find a strong market for its Astra2Connect wholesale broadband service, and revealed being in discussions with telcos in Eastern Europe and Germany for about it.
SES is making Astra2Connect available to such large European service providers as telcos, ISPs and broadband operators that target residential and small enterprise markets. The service is SES's latest attempt to gain a foothold in broadband markets, especially in Europe, though Bausch said his company also sought to reach markets in North Africa and the Middle East.
