[12-05-07 – Satellite Today] Microspace Communications Corp. has retained movie industry veteran Michael Murphy to help Microspace expand digital cinema services into Mexico, the company announced Dec. 3.
    Murphy’s international expertise will guide Microspace’s strategy in establishing a larger international foothold in the entertainment market through his strategic relationships and experience acquired over more than 30 years in the industry, Microspace said in a statement.
    Murphy previously held senior executive positions with Hoyts General Cinema South America, United International Pictures in Latin America and the Caribbean, MGM and United Artists Corp.
