[11-08-07 – Satellite Today] C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. and Mexican reseller Jaba Networks are deploying a number of its iNetVu Mobile satellite antennas to assist medical authorities with the flood emergency in Mexico, the company announced Nov. 8.
The iNetVu auto-deploying satellite antennas are installed on top of Mobile Hospital Vehicles owned by the Mexican Ministry of Health and are being used in the Villahermosa Tabasco flood emergency to transmit epidemic diagnosis and charts from the flood site.
In addition to this the antenna systems are also providing video conferencing, Internet and VoIP connectivity to health officials and emergency workers as well as to the cabinet appointed directly by the Mexican President for this emergency.
