ND Satcom, Interactive Technologies Implement Telemedicine Network

ND Satcom and Interactive Technologies have launched Bulgaria’s first satellite-based telemedicine network, ND Satcom announced May 23. The network is based on ND Satcom’s SkyWAN platform, while Interactive Technologies provides a meshed VSAT network. The system will provide applications such as live video transmissions of operations, videoconferencing, teleconferencing and file transfer between military hospitals and medical centers for the Bulgarian Armed Forces.
