Access Intelligence has recently been notified by a handful of SATELLITE 2012 exhibitors that they have been solicited by a company called FAIRGuide based in Bratislava, Slovakia. FAIRGuide claims they are publishing an event guide for SATELLITE, and they are collecting information for a free listing. Subsequently exhibitors who have submitted their information for the directory have received an invoice for $1,877. Here’s a sample of the solicitation letter. Please do not reply to the solicitation from FAIRGuide or any solicitation from an unofficial vendor as they are in no way affiliated with the SATELLITE Conference and Exposition. The SATELLITE 2012 On-Site Program is published by Access Intelligence, LLC, the show management company of SATELLITE. The Official Show Daily is also published by Access Intelligence, LLC. All other show vendors can be found in the Exhibitor Service Manual. |
