Does SATELLITE 2010 offer military discounts?

Yes! Active military and federal, state and local government employees qualify for the military discounted rate of $899 for the 2-day Military Forum, $999 for the Individual Conference and $1499 for the Full Conference. To obtain the military and government rate, simply select the option during the online registration process and please remember to bring your valid military or government ID to the event.  Contractors do not qualify for military discounts.

What is the dress code?

Business formal is encouraged for all events at SATELLITE 2010 Conference and Exhibition. Military personnel are encouraged to wear duty uniform.

How do I get to the Gaylord National Convention Center?

The Gaylord National Convention Center is 8 miles south of Washington, DC, situated at the foot of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, just off I-95 on the Capital Beltway at the I-295 interchange.

Gaylord National Convention Center is just a 15-minute drive from Reagan National Airport and within a 45-minute drive from Dulles and Baltimore Washington International Airports. Shuttle service and car service are available from either airport to the hotel.

As National Harbor is a new development and may not register on some GPS systems, please follow these driving directions for best results.

How far is the Gaylord National Convention Center from Washington, DC?

The Gaylord National Convention Center is located on the Potomac River, just 8 miles south of Washington, DC. Click here to see a map.

Does Metro run to the Gaylord National Convention Center?

National Harbor and the Gaylord National Resort are connected to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, or Metro system, via a limited-stop bus route. The NH-1 bus runs 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week. It arrives every 20-22 minutes during morning and evening rush hour (Monday-Friday), and every 30 minutes at all other times.

The NH-1 route begins at the Southern Avenue Metro station (the end of the green line) and concludes at National Harbor, with four additional stops along the way. Current pricing for the trip is $1.35 each way, or $1.25 each way with a Metro SmarTrip card.

The bus stop is located at the corner of Waterfront Street and St. George Boulevard, across the street from the main Gaylord National entrance.

How do I cancel my registration, and what is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made after September 30, 2009 will be subject to a cancellation fee of $750. Registrants who cancel after January 15, 2010 will be liable for the full conference registration fee. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
