Comtech Will Provide Cellular Backhaul Equipment For Middle East Network

Comtech EF Data Corp. received an order to deliver satellite infrastructure equipment that will be used in a cellular backhaul network in the Middle East, Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced July 13.
Under an order from an unidentified systems integrator valued at $1 million, Comtech will provide CDM-600L satellite modems and switches for both hub and remote sites. The modem provides data rates of 2.4 kilobits per second to 20 megabits per second and support a range of interfaces, Comtech said.
