Satellite Systems Launches Satellite Communications Subsidiary

Satellite Systems Corp. has established a subsidiary, Dominion Test Instruments, to enhance satellite communications offerings, the company announced June 26.

Satellite Systems has been manufacturing satellite beacon tracking receivers for antenna control or uplink power control, frequency converters and other products for more than 20 years. The new subsidiary will specializes in the design and manufacture of a remote carrier monitor line of products scheduled to be released in summer.

"Our plan is to offer one integrated platform to control and operate our complete line of products,” Brian Richardson, design engineer for Satellite Systems, said in a statement. “A customer will be able to monitor and control the complete product line remotely from anywhere in the world.”
