MDA Delivers Robotic Arm For Space Station

      MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) delivered Dextre, a robotic arm for the International Space Station, to

      NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the company announced June 27.

      The arm was developed under a contract from the Canadian Space Agency and is a component of the mobile servicing system, Canada’s contribution to the space station. Two other components of the system, the Mobile Base and the Canadarm2, already are operational on the space station.
