ViaSat Receives $19M Order From U.S. Navy

ViaSat Inc. has been awarded contracts worth not more than $19 million for the U.S. Navy’s Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS), ViaSat announced June 15.

The awards from the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego are for non-recurring terminal engineering, terminals to support government air worthiness testing, and the first lot of MIDS JTRS production transition terminals.
