Orange, GlobeCast Peddling Communications Support To 2007 Tour de France

High-definition coverage of the 2007 Tour de France will be provided by Orange Group subsidiary GlobeCast to French broadcaster France Televisions and the European Broadcasting Union, Orange announced July 6.
To cover the event, which runs from July 7 through July 29, GlobeCast will deploy up to eight satellite newsgathering and mobile microwave units at each stage.
GlobeCast’s mobile units will distribute the feed around the globe on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union.
