Grupo Etercom to use IDC’s Titan 3 HD Contribution Encoder for SNG

[Via Satellite 10-06-2015] Grupo Etercom, a value-added solution integrator in Mexico, has selected International Datacasting Corporation’s (IDC) Titan video contribution solution to refresh its Satellite Newsgathering (SNG) networks. The company cited the functionality of the encoder’s interface and the ruggedized design as reasons for the purchase.
IDC’s Titan encoders are designed for outdoor broadcasting, and feature a front panel for quick setup of mission critical operations. The encoder family delivers solutions for standard and high definition encoding in MPEG-2 or MPEG-4. The Titan 3 features ultra-low latency of 150ms and 4:2:2 10-bit encoding in high definition.
