Tata Elxsi to Offer RDK Reference Deployment Suite for Operators

[Via Satellite 05-01-2014] Tata Elxsi revealed its Reference Design Kit (RDK) reference deployment suite for operators. The RDK is an integrated software bundle that is used by TV service providers, Set-Top Box (STB) manufacturers and System on a Chip (SoC) vendors. The RDK provides a framework for powering Customer-Premises Equipment (CPE), such as STBs, gateways and converged devices.

The services provided by Tata Elxsi in the RDK Reference Deployment Suite include app development, localization, porting and validation, system integration and deployment support. The package also involves an HTML5 application framework, RDK specific servers and a set of HTML5 applications.
